Adam Turnquist is Chief Cross-Asset Strategist at LPL Financial, where he develops investment strategy and market insights across equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. Leveraging a technical analysis framework, he identifies trends, opportunities, and risks to help guide positioning across asset classes, synthesizing his cross-asset views into a cohesive macro market view. He also leads the management and development of technical research within LPL Research. Adam is a member of the LPL Financial Research Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation Committee (STAAC) and serves on the LPL Research Equity Model Portfolio Committee, where he is a portfolio manager for several of the technical-focused funds. He frequently shares his market views with CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, and other major financial news networks, while his research is often quoted in the financial press. His investment career spans over 20 years.

Prior to joining LPL Financial

Before joining LPL Financial, Adam was Vice President at Piper Sandler, where he served as a technical research analyst covering U.S. and global equity markets, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. In that role, he produced macro- and micro-focused technical research for institutional clients, work that laid the foundation for the multi-asset approach he leads today. Before Piper Sandler, he began his career as a fixed income trader, gaining hands-on experience in the mechanics of the bond market that continues to inform his market views.
