What it means to be a great advisor

Kashif A. Ahmed: Oh gosh, what does it mean to be a great advisor? It's that human to human connection. The reason I got into this business is because of the enormous impact you can have in people's lives.

Merri Carol Hall: I care to the core. I want to help my clients morning, noon, night, weekends.

Danielle Darling: When I think of being a great advisor, to me, it means just having empathy.

Matt McAfee: It starts with employees who are passionate, who have high integrity, who love their clients.

Merri Carol Hal: I think there's a lot of advisors that talk before they listen. And I think clients want to know they're heard, they want to know that their needs, their needs are heard.

Matt McAfee: I'm thrilled that we have such a competent partner in LPL who is managing parts of our business better than we could on our own. And that to me is at the heart of what a strategic partnership is. You don't have to be all things to every person, right? There's a reason all of us use different providers of services because many times people can either do it better, faster, or cheaper than you can do it yourself.

Merri Carol Hall: The technology that I have access to at LPL has really truly given me the confidence to know that I'm providing all the tools that are available for my client and it's not just junk. It's real, it's absolutely the best things that I've ever been able to provide them as an advisor.
