The mission of the LPL Financial Foundation is to advance the economic well-being of underserved populations where we live and work, with an emphasis on encouraging professional readiness and placement of career-ready talent for the financial services industry and providing resources and training to small-business owners.

Empowering Community Service

Our employees and financial professionals actively work to better our local communities through volunteering and financial support.

LPL Financial Foundation Partnerships

The LPL Financial Foundation funds organizations that align with our focus areas, which include increasing the pipeline of underserved career-ready talent for the financial services industry and building the financial capabilities of underserved small business owners.  Grant requests are received by invitation only, and the Foundation Board reviews the requests once annually.  Learn more about our current partners.

Empowering Community Engagement

Our employees and financial professionals are dedicated to strengthening the communities where we live and work.  We are proud to support their efforts by offering programs and opportunities to deepen their impact.

Seasons of Service

Twice each year, our employees are called to take action through company-wide volunteer campaigns. Hundreds of LPL employees support various organizations and participate in virtual and in-person activities ranging from financial education seminars to community clean-up events to hunger-relief efforts.

Volunteer Time Off (VTO)

Employees are encouraged to take up to 16 hours of paid VTO each year to get involved in their communities. They can participate in the activities of their choice, whether for LPL-organized events or independent volunteer efforts.

Matching Gifts Program

To amplify the impact of our employees’ and financial professionals’ charitable donations, we match their contributions of up to $500 to eligible non-profit organizations.

LPL Care Fund

This fund was created to enable LPL employees to support their teammates who are facing financial hardship as a result of a natural disaster.
