Jina Yoon

Chief Alternative Investment Strategist

As Chief Alternative Investment Strategist for LPL Financial, Jina is responsible for leading and expanding LPL’s alternative investment perspective. In this role, she provides advisors and their clients with market insights on alternative investments as well as actionable investment and portfolio management recommendations. She is also responsible for building partnerships with third-party alternative investment managers to bring attractive alternative investment solutions to LPL’s clients.

Jina is a member of LPL Research’s Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation Committee (STAAC), which provides a united investment view across a comprehensive range of investing disciplines.

Prior to joining LPL Financial

Jina was the Head of Portfolio Management and a Senior Portfolio Manager at Nomura Private Capital, where she focused on building and managing alternative investment products for RIAs. Before Nomura, she spent the majority of her career at Credit Suisse as the Head of Tactical Trading Strategies and as a Portfolio Manager. In this role, she led investment due diligence on liquid hedge funds well as private markets solutions and managed alternative investment-focused portfolios for both institutional and private wealth clients. She was also a voting member of the Investment Committee.
