Sustainability at LPL

Perhaps the strongest example of LPL’s commitment to sustainability is the design of its free-standing green buildings in Fort Mill, S.C. (known as the Carolinas campus), and San Diego, California. LPL’s Boston office is also in a LEED-certified, high-rise building in the city’s financial district downtown.

Paperless Processes

We’ve improved the ease and efficacy of our paperless program to positively impact our environmental footprint.

Water Management

We measure and manage the water consumption in our offices, which in 2024 included just over 5M gallons of potable water.

Energy and Emissions

We invest in energy conservation programs in our offices to reduce emissions and manage our operational expenses.

Recycling Programs

We operate a zero-waste-to-landfill policy at our Fort Mill and San Diego campuses and offer recycling for either separate or single-stream recycling waste management, plus the recycling of batteries, eyeglasses, coffee pods, and print cartridges.
