Empowering Community Service

At LPL Financial, our employees and financial professionals actively work to better our local communities through volunteering with local nonprofits, and matching employee and advisor donations to eligible charities.

Matching Gifts Program

To amplify the impact of our employees’ and financial professionals’ charitable donations, we match their contributions up to $500 to eligible nonprofit organizations.

Volunteer Time Off (VTO)

Employees at LPL Financial are encouraged to take up to 16 hours of paid volunteer time off (VTO) each year to get involved in their communities. They can participate in the activities of their choice, whether for LPL-organized events or independent volunteer efforts.

Community Impact

LPL’s employees and financial professionals are dedicated to strengthening the communities where we live and work. We are proud to support their efforts by offering programs and opportunities to deepen their impact.

LPL Care Fund

This care fund was created to enable LPL employees to support their teammates who are facing financial hardship as a result of a declared natural disaster, serious illness or injury (including epidemic), or domestic abuse.

Pro Bono Program

Since its inception in 2024, the Legal, Policy and Community Impact pro bono and volunteer program has partnered with nonprofit organizations to provide support through volunteerism and legal services for survivors of domestic violence. From packing snack and activity bags for children of survivors seeking services, to participating in volunteer complaint drafting sessions, the LPC team continues to provide a critical service and make an extensive impact in the community.
