Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index celebrates companies building diverse and inclusive environments for all employees

SAN DIEGO – Jan. 17, 2025 – LPL Financial LLC, a leader in the wealth management industry, has received the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s top honor, the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion, for a sixth straight year. The results of the 2024-2025 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) showcase how companies like LPL are supporting their most valuable resource, their people, while building a workplace of choice for meeting future growth demands.

The Corporate Equality Index is the nation’s leading benchmark for LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion, evaluating policies and practices in the following areas:

  • Workforce protections
  • Equitable and inclusive benefits
  • Fostering an inclusive culture
  • Corporate social responsibility

“Diversity, equity and inclusion are fundamental to LPL’s culture and mission, and we are thrilled to be recognized by HRC for a sixth year for our support of the LGBTQ+ community in the workplace,” said Sara Dadyar, LPL managing director and chief human resources officer. “We remain committed to attracting, developing and retaining top talent—in order to support our growth and to deliver a valuable employee experience to each individual. Our culture of inclusion has a direct benefit to our advisors, institutions, investors, and the communities where we live and work.”

LPL actively cultivates diversity and an inclusive environment for the LGBTQ+ community through initiatives such as the LGBTQ+ Client Community and the Pride Alliance Employee Resource Group (ERG). The LGBTQ+ Client Community serves as a platform for financial advisors to learn about new resources and connect with peers who share similar backgrounds. Together, advisors foster inspiration and accelerate professional growth. The Pride Alliance ERG provides LGBTQ+ employees and their allies with a supportive workplace community to make meaningful connections with colleagues and build lasting relationships that can impact their lives and careers, ultimately strengthening their ties within the organization.

“At its core, the work of the CEI is about understanding, commitment and compassion – it doesn’t happen overnight. Since the start of this work 22 years ago, we’ve seen drastic shifts in corporate America towards more equitable and inclusive working conditions, family formation and healthcare benefits, and nondiscrimination protections,” said HRC President Kelley Robinson.
