Garrett Fish

Head of Model Portfolio Management

Garrett Fish is responsible for leading LPL Financial’s investment management process, where he manages multiple investment mandates, and drives adoption of LPL Research’s 50 model portfolios. He is also member of LPL Research’s Strategic & Tactical Asset Allocation Committee (STAAC), which creates a single and united investment perspective for LPL Financial.

Prior to joining LPL Financial

Garrett spent over 19 years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in New York, where he was a Lead Portfolio Manager in large cap core equities, multi-asset, and ESG strategies. Before his long-tenured work at J.P. Morgan, he was a U.S. equity portfolio manager in London with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and in Hong Kong with Jardine Fleming Asset Management.

Garett started his investing career at age 14, when he bought a mutual fund, and credits his success to a love of research. “I’m a consummate consumer of data. By figuring out where the trend is, you can capitalize on that 2, 3 or 5-year trend.”
