Earning the highest score in the annual HRC Corporate Equality Index (CEI) means a lot to LPL’s community of LGBT employees, colleagues and allies
The Corporate Equality Index is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBT community.
“At LPL, we are incredibly proud to be positioned so well on the Corporate Equality Index. It is wonderful to know that by having demonstrated our commitment to creating an environment where our employees are supported and empowered to bring their whole selves to work, we are recognized as a leading company in the diversity and inclusion space,” said Lisa Toppin, LPL vice president and chief diversity officer, Training & Development. “We know our human capital is our greatest asset. By creating a workplace that values the individual and wellbeing, we are better enabled to deliver upon the service excellence our clients rely on while creating healthy employees and communities.”
“Earning the highest score in the annual HRC Corporate Equality Index (CEI) means a lot to LPL’s community of LGBT employees, colleagues and allies,” said Aaron Gordon, LPL senior vice president, National Consulting. “The score is a very meaningful reflection of LPL truly living up to our corporate values. I am proud to work here and feel empowered to deliver my best every day knowing the firm is supporting me as an individual.”
