The last two months of 2021 are going to go by quickly and LPL Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick takes a moment to explore three reasons to be thankful.

Stocks are having one of their best years ever. Not to mention—the end of year is historically the strongest part of the year for stocks. One reason to be grateful, for sure.

Although the economy slowed in the third quarter, we expect this trend to end soon as growth should pick up later this year and early next year. Corporate America didn't feel the slowdown, though, because earnings continue to be extremely strong. Another reason to be thankful.

COVID-19 trends look very promising. The decline in total cases and hospitalizations, booster shots, and vaccinations for kids—all of which will help the reopening—are reasons to be thankful for, indeed.
